Visitors to Bonita Spring can choose from a number of recreational opportunities, including many organized by the city government.
The Bonita Springs Parks and Recreation Department operates the Bonita Springs Recreation Center, which offers a range of weekly activities including line dancing, pickleball, mahjong, table tennis, shape and tone classes and senior pickup basketball. Frisbee aficionados may test their mettle at the Bonita Springs Disc Golf Course. The Disc Golf Pro-Shop is located in the main lobby area of the recreation center. The Skateboard Pro-Shop belongs to the adjacent B3 Skate Park, which promotes separate days for bicycles, skateboards and inline skates.
Soccer fans may proceed to the Bonita Springs Soccer Complex, which features three regulation-sized fields. The city currently maintains two soccer leagues and everybody gets to play: men, women and children. The complex is located adjacent to the Bonita Springs YMCA.
The Bonita Springs Community Pool offers a number of classes year ’round. At just $2.50 for an adult day pass ($1.50 for children) the pool is also one of the best deals on offer in Bonita Springs.
